Gabriel Valla, also a Florida native, is an instrumental
powerhouse with his commanding performances on lead guitar as well as
the mandolin. Gabe’s tunes range from traditional to jazz
as well as his distinctive original compositions as well. Gabe is also
a gifted singer and pleases the crowds with his lead renditions of bluegrass
classics, original tunes and contemporary ballads as well as his harmonies.
Lis Williamson, Florida girl, has also been playing
bluegrass for a long time in this area. She is known for her strong
vocal style and driving rhythm guitar. She also performs several tunes with the band on frailed banjo as well. Lis is an award-winning songwriter and many of her tunes are performed by The Driftwoods. Lis also serves as Vice President of
the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival and has for the past thirteen years. The festival is held
the first weekend in May in St. Augustine, Florida. Please visit the

Lon Williamson, California boy! Lon is another multi-talented
member of the Driftwoods and plays upright bass. He sets the tempo with
a beautiful style and warm tone. He is also a terrific singer and songwriter, adding rich lead vocals to his original tunes as well as some band favorites from his country-influenced background. Lon's duets with Lis are another highlight of The Driftwoods.
